A representative of the Hesketh Park Heritage Group and WI members attended the unveiling of its plaque and hope the tree will be included in the park heritage trail.<em>Hesketh Park in Southport is one of the nation\u2019s earliest municipal parks, opened in 1868 and designed by Edward Kemp on land donated by the Rev. Charles Hesketh of Meols Hall.
